Trusted by thousands of expecting families across Suffolk County and beyond, Peek Ultrasound was founded in 2023 by Kayla Stenberg, RDMS, RVT, a certified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and local mother-of-two.

This woman-owned small business was built on a simple but powerful mission: to reimagine the prenatal ultrasound experience from a modern, balanced viewpoint. Kayla set out to create a space that felt distinctly separate from the rushed clinical setting so many patients are used to, and so many of her jobs required.

She designed every detail, from ambient lighting and cozy furnishings, to state-of-the-art imaging technology, to make local families feel seen, supported, and valued by an experienced high risk/MFM sonographer turned entrepreneur. No more long waits, rushed appointments, or poor quality photos—because you deserve better.

Our goal is not to replace, but to supplement routine prenatal care by fostering an easy, memorable and unique bonding opportunity that prioritizes you and your baby’s well-being above all else.

Today, Peek Ultrasound offers a full range of services including elective ultrasounds for every trimester, gender reveal celebrations, and once-in-a-lifetime pregnancy keepsakes, all under one roof. Intention, enthusiasm, and reassurance are the guiding principles behind every session.
